Nokia: Huawei's ban may come with long-term benefits

During his meeting with investors, Nokia CEO Rajeev Suri said the US ban on China's Huawei could bring future benefits, especially for fifth-generation networks.

Nokia does not seem to be reaping any benefits, especially as the embargo and its effects are still in the early stages, and perhaps there is a chance to cancel it. But if it continues, Nokia and Ericsson will be among the most beneficial in terms of communications networks and the fifth generation.

Last month, Nokia unveiled its financial results, which showed sudden losses due to its inability to keep pace with the market and provide the equipment and towers of the fifth generation networks of telecommunications companies with the speed and efficiency moved by Huawei.

Nokia integrates its technology and expertise with what it acquired from Alcatel-Lucent, having acquired a 90% stake. The Finnish telecommunications giant admitted to delaying its competitors for a period of several months.

Nokia has received 37 contracts for the installation of fifth-generation networks, including 20 contracts with specific and well-known companies such as the Americas T-Mobile and AT & T.

Huawei and ZTE, another Chinese company, square measure enjoying an important role in building next-generation high-speed web infrastructure. an analogous restriction on ZTE last year pushed the corporate to the brink of bankruptcy before a settlement with Washington turned down the warmth.
